Dance ≠ Dancer[edit]

Dance and Dancer, while related, are distinct and separate topics. It is obvious to me that someone who types "dancer" into the search box is not interested in dance per se; they are seeking an article that begins with "dancer"--which is why they typed "dancer" into the search box in the first place, right? They are likely seeking an article by that name, or perhaps they are interested in finding a list of dancers or exploring some other aspect of that explicit term. Dancer (disambiguation) provides them with an effective and efficient way to quickly drill down to find what they are looking for, so shouldn't this page redirect to it instead of to Dance, which in turn imposes a cumbersome and unnecessary hatnote that will, after additional delay, lead them to Dancer (disambiguation)?
