"Fr Daniel"[edit]

It is appropriate for a believer in the Orthodox faith to refer to Daniel Sysoev as "Father" or "Fr Daniel", but I submit that it is not encyclopedic, as it implies a personal, spiritual relationship between Sysoev and the reader. For non-believers, a priest is not a spiritual father. Non-believers might properly call him "the Rev. Mr. Sysoev" or "the Rev. Daniel Sysoev" as a courtesy, because reverence does not require a personal relationship; but only the faithful should call him "Father Daniel". Consequently, I am replacing "Fr Daniel" in the article with "Sysoev", and removing references to priests as "Father". J. D. Crutchfield | Talk 14:49, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Uranopolitism"[edit]

The article says,

Explaining the teaching of the Orthodox Church, Sysoev used the term 'Uranopolitism'.

But without any explanation of what "Uranopolitism" means, the statement is completely uninformative to the general reader. The sentence should be explained or deleted. J. D. Crutchfield | Talk 15:06, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
