It's my bad about the photo. I did not know there is a fair use restriction regarding living people but that does make total sense and I should have checked. I will try and take my own photo so the article has a visual at least. Enneacontakaienneagonal (talk) 19:17, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of Wikipedia's rules are complicated and bureaucratic but its rules about photos are high up for those characteristics. Once you take a photo I would recommend uploading it to commons.wikimedia.org rather than directly to en.wikipedia.org — the difference is that it would then become available for all the other languages that Wikipedia covers (including the French version of this article). Uploading and licensing a photo that you have taken yourself is relatively easy using the commons upload wizard. Trying to upload a photo that someone else took, even when it is properly licensed, can be much more complicated and bureaucratic. —David Eppstein (talk) 21:12, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Original photograph has been taken and uploaded! Thank you for the clarifications and advice; I know what to do going forward now. Enneacontakaienneagonal (talk) 16:51, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
