August 2021[edit]

The article states that in August 2021 he became assistant to Ronald Koeman. That is incorrect. In August 2021, he became assistant to 3rd time national manager Louis van Gaal. Both remained in their roles at the Netherlands national football team until the World Cup 2022 in Qatar, which ended for the Netherlands in the quarter finals after a penalty shoot-out against later world champions Argentina.
