I'm wholly unfamiliar with the syntax of Wiki Article Creation, so I just hacked this together in 10 seconds. Sorry. If someone wants to scrap it and start over, that'd be fine, but I think Mr. Cameron -- one of the most influential baseball writers in the country -- deserves his own page. He contributes content to, among others, FanGraphs, ESPN, and USS Mariner. I believe he is notable enough to have a Wiki Page.

I have a pretty major problem with this sentence. Cameron is essentially a sports journalist, he doesn't conduct quantitative research using statistical analysis techniques, he generally uses existing statistics to write about baseball players. For instance the two articles linked to concerning his "sabermetric research on HR/FB rate" are a short article in which Cameron lists a bunch of pitchers by their HR/FB rate to make a point about Matt Cain and an article by a different author (Tom Tango) linking back to the Matt Cain piece. This isn't research, it's journalism yet the text is presenting it as if he's a researcher who develops statistics in a similar manner to people like Bill James or other sabermetric analysts.
