Talledega-Texaco Walk of Fame Relevance?[edit]

I don't see why that is up there under "Tribute." Unless Davey Allison is in the Walk of Fame, which he apparently isn't, or it's named after him, which it apparently isn't. Can someone with more knowledge expand on this? Otherwise I recommend removing it. Johnnytucf (talk) 03:20, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I too am puzzled what the heck this in doing here. Shouldn't it have a page of its own? Or at least be part of the Talledega page? Also, it's unsourced, so it's probably appropriate to remove it until someone can scare up a reference. ShelbyMarion (talk) 14:02, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ah...never mind. I see that it is sourced. However, how necessary is it to list the winners? Seems an unnecessary clutter for this article when a simple line about an award being established in his memory would suffice. ShelbyMarion (talk) 14:12, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
