Problematic source[edit]

Much of the article relies on the book The Nature of the Beast: The David Blech Story. However, this appears to be a self-published book (the Amazon listing shows it as being published by "CreateSpace", which is Amazon's self-publishing service), which strongly suggests that it does not reach the level of reliability needed to source particularly contentious or accusatory information of a living person. I've edited out the most accusatory material sourced to that book. --Nat Gertler (talk) 23:25, 18 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

David Blech: The Nature of The Beast is a Reliable Source[edit]

Editors: I can vouch that this book is a reliable source. All the information in this article that is referenced from the book is factual information, which can be verified through thourough research of the public information relating to the companies it mentions and online research of verifiable websites and newspaper articles in regards to any factual information not relating to the corporate public information it contains. I'm afraid that someone vouching for a source is not sufficient, particularly for potentially contentious material in a biography of a living person. "Self-published sources should never be used as third-party sources about living persons" is in our guidelines at WP:USERG. --Nat Gertler (talk) 07:09, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
