Orphaned references in David Gilmour discography[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of David Gilmour discography's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Mabbett-1":

  • From David Gilmour: Miles, Barry (1994). Pink Floyd the visual documentary (Updated ed.). London: Omnibus. ISBN 0711941092. {{cite book}}: Unknown parameter |coauthors= ignored (|author= suggested) (help)
  • From Nick Mason: Miles, Barry (1994). Pink Floyd the visual documentary ([Updated ed.] ed.). London :: Omnibus,. ISBN 0711941092. {{cite book}}: Unknown parameter |coauthors= ignored (|author= suggested) (help)CS1 maint: extra punctuation (link)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 11:43, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why no Hawkwind?[edit]

I'm thinking specifically of DG's work on Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music. DG is mentioned in this interview with HW drummer Simon King as doing various remixes especially of Kerb Crawler and it is suggested here that he actually did some guitar work on that song with HW constant member Dave Brock being named as the source.

Anyone got a hard copy source to pin down DG's role.--Peter cohen (talk) 02:03, 24 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Error on Jeff Tain Watts[edit]

Hie there!

In this discography, it is stated that Mr David Gilmour is on the record "Detained at the Blue Note" by Jeff Tain Watts. This is very much incorrect, but the mistake have been done several times. The guitar player on this record is the Amarican Jazz guitar player David Gilmore: https://www.discogs.com/artist/319724-David-Gilmore
