Alex Herd[edit]

As far as I am aware, Herd's father did not play for Scotland, although his uncle Andy did once in 1935. I have changed the article accordingly. Given the dates of Herd senior's career, it may be that he played in wartime internationals. Caledonian Place 05:46, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

David Herd broke his leg in March 1967 not November '66. The Manchester United web site is wrong in this respect. A look at the records of players for all matches in that season (66-67) shows that he played all through November to March. www.stretfordend.co.uk Also I was there.
