He was also a part of the stolen generation and was adopted out to a white family. He went to Coolbellup primary school and was known as David Sloan.

He also had a short stint in the Australian Navy, he was often seen at the Fremantle war memorial on most ANZAC days, he was a very proud man when he discovered his lost roots and became David Ngoomburra.[1]  — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.178.128.32 (talk) 11:35, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
