David Whitehouse, Ph.D.[edit]

Hello! I just wanted to let whomever know that there is a different David Whitehouse who has written several non-fiction books. Their books are cross-listed on some sites but based on the author's websites, they are clearly not the same person. One person has a bachelor's in journalism; the other has a PhD and worked in astronomy. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:14, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I have no idea. On this David Whitehouse's official website, he says he's the author of About a Son, as well as the other books mentioned on the page now (e.g., Bed and Mobile Library). A Bookseller interview with the author of About a Son includes an image of the author, which looks like the same person on Hachette Australia's author page for David Whitehouse, Ph.D. That page lists Whitehouse as the author of About a Son, as well as more sciencey books, e.g., Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Sun, and The Moon. Whitehouse's official website doesn't name these books nor does it mention anything about science writing. Help! Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 17:49, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
