can i just ask why this article has been selected for speedy deletion i just wanted to start an article for the housing estate i was brought up in and my family continues to live in. All the facts i have put up i believe to be correct.

It was probably brought up for speedy deletion because it appears to be original research. If you cite some sources, there's a chance that the admins won't delete it, but it would also help if you revamp the article to look more encyclopedic. Useight 05:52, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I, the admin closing speedy deletions, have put a "proposed deletion" tag. Try to get the article up to standards soon, and you can remove the tag after that. Otherwise, it will be deleted in five days.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 13:04, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
