Deadpool and the Fourth Wall

Honestly I am surprised some of Deadpool's more trollish fans haven't vandalized the article yet. Given how he has a propensity for shattering the fourth wall, and some of his fans like to carry on the gag... --Zhane Masaki (talk) 03:00, 21 May 2018 (UTC)

category

The newly created Category: Deadpool characters seems to exist only for the purpose of listing characters from the Deadpool movies? 2600:1700:E820:1BA0:9C04:8DB3:8AFB:7E0A (talk) 01:53, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

Not gay

Deadpool is not gay. "Pansexual" is not a real word or sexual orientation, and Twitter is not a reliable source. Virtue-signaling on Twitter doesn't count because Deadpool has never been depicted as gay in any officially-licensed Marvel or Disney comics, films, stories, merchandise, stories, or products. Besides, if you want to mention this in the article, it does not warrant an entire section and huge quote from Twitter; maybe make it a single sentence: "writer Gerry Duggan claimed on Twitter that Deadpool is 'pansexual.' " Fabian Nicieza's response shouldn't even be mentioned because it is nonsensical. Deadpool is clearly only the male sex; he isn't some sort of shapeshifter. In fact, this whole thing isn't even worthy of being mentioned in the article. It is what gay activists refer to as "gay-baiting." It is the same easily-dismissable nonsense as when one of the co-writers of Solo claimed on Twitter that Lando was "pansexual" because he had some sort of relationship with a feminine droid.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1:B177:F02B:2949:BF0:7CA1:E9E1 (talk) 07:31, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

If the people in charge of developing the Deadpool character says so, then it's true. Plus Deadpool touched Colossus butt in a erotic way in Deadpool 2. Penguin7812 (talk) 11:28, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

Deadpool (comic book) page removal

I removed the page titled Deadpool (comic book) as it was simply a copy of this page's "Publication history" with just a few extra sentences, which I added back to this page. It had not been kept up to date and was redundant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pokedigi (talkcontribs) 14:28, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

Could something be put in perhaps or even have comic book history separate from other publications? A lot has happened since this removal of a page — Preceding unsigned comment added by ShaneDenial17 (talkcontribs) 17:00, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

Citation

Made an account to add Deadpool decaptating Hulk source, Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe #2 (2012), but the page is protected from edits. Splendiferous Spider-Dude (talk) 20:32, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

Merger Discussion

Request received to merge articles: Wade Wilson (film character) into Deadpool#Film; dated: April 2020. Proposer's Rationale: The page as it currently stands is an unnecessary content fork from the film section of the main Deadpool article.. Discuss here. We have standalone articles for Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. Why can't this be like these articles? Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 14:02, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Support as is, but there's probably enough room for improvement that it could be separated someday as Deadpool in Film or Deadpool (film franchise). Not at all comparable with MCU characters that have crossed franchises repeatedly. Argento Surfer (talk) 13:09, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
