Plot Summary[edit]

Why is this a scene-for-scene description of who comes into the room and says what? Surely what's needed is a brief summary to describe the film, not pages full of long-winded spoilers? Thrapper 10:15, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Because I'm too lazy to try to trim it, though, I'm contenting myself with correcting some typos and adding a "Spoiler" warning. JamesMLane t c 04:08, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

why is there a plot summary and a synopsis...? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.6.255.112 (talk) 03:35, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will try to clean this up.Whorchatasoto (talk) 03:36, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've over-hauled the article. It's better, I hope others will improve it further. Whorchatasoto (talk) 04:52, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Box office[edit]

This is a British film, not an American film. So why does the Box Office section refer to US and foreign sales?

I'd imagine it's because the box office figures, like for almost all films on wikipedia, come from boxofficemojo.com The only UK box office figures I could find was a £775,219 gross after a limited release. http://www.screenrush.co.uk/films/film-128990/did-you-know/ Weirdly it's best performance by far was in Australia where it grossed approx. £7.5 million. --81.109.72.78 (talk) 17:54, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Martha's baby[edit]

The article says it's Simon's, but didn't the movie reveal it was really Justin's?

Also, a search for "Death at a Funeral" leads to the black remake, not the British original. Why? I don't think the remake was more successful...

I don't think the remake has been released yet. The rationale for changing the redirect was that more people were searching for the remake - Erik highlights this here. Given the proximity to release, it make sense for the remake to be the primary topic as more people will be searching for it. In a few months Death at a Funeral will be changed to a disambiguation page, assuming that searches for the two films will be roughly equal. Rje (talk) 04:54, 22 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
