Did Milton Berle appear in "December Bride"[edit]

Yes, he did. In the episode as originally aired, and as cited by the sourced named (both of which are published and reliable), at the very end of the show is a segment where the grooms toss the bouquet. A drag queen catches it, only to turn around -- and it is Milton Berle (in drag for the last time in his life). Variety cites it this way:

Norm Crosby, who performs the gay ceremony on "Roseanne," was talking the seg with Milton Berle who is the surprise finale: he catches the gay wedding bouquet, and is in complete drag. "It's the first time I've done this in 17 years," he (said).

User Otto4711 disagrees, but cannot cite any evidence or opposing citations. IMDB cites his appearance (albeit uncredited)[1]. TV.com also cites his appearance.[2] These are not as reliable as other sources, but they are both backed up by Variety, which is the newspaper-of-record for the industry and by the New York Daily News. This does not constitute original research. Otto4711's assertion that the scene does not appear is original research. - Tim1965 (talk) 22:38, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
