Reaching out to Dchseagle

You undid a number of recent changes I made. As that's kind of the idea behind wikipedia, I have no problem with that. I thought though that we might put our two heads together. I'm a Del City resident who wanted to improve on the article a bit. One thing I would like to find is more sources of information about Del City. Do you know of any? I was only fixing the way you sourced your input some of the refs that you put in caused some things to have three or more refs which is not bad in it self but makes the page look wired. As for information on Del City i have something's im gathering to add to the page its just take some time as i work on many other things on wiki if you have any thing fill free to add it.

One thing I see in a lot of the feature articles is a Notes section that the citations link to and then a References section that basically is alphabetized and a little less jumbled then the Notes section. How do you feel about that?Okiebradshaw (talk) 21:19, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

I think the Refs section should be left alone as that's the way it should be as listed in the style guide lines but we could put in a Further readings Sections which would list Books or Web Sites that were used in as sources if you give me some time ill make up an example of what it would look like.--Steam Iron 21:36, 27 January 2010 (UTC)

Here is an example that i found on the Minneapolis page.

I asked another editor about the references section, just to have the rules explained to me and he noted that though it is the way some articles are done, it only makes sense for long articles with numerous, specific citations (page nos. for example) from the same source. Since we don't have a lot of books on there, I guess we probably don't need a separate citations section. It would be nice to somehow streamline citations to the same source. Del City Mayors

I can't find a list of former Del City mayors. If you knew of some, you might give me their names and I could search their names to find articles about Del City.Okiebradshaw (talk) 22:00, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
