Delije recently distanced their organisation from their former leader Zeljko Raznatovic ARKAN who was accused of genocide in recent wars in former Yugoslavia.They claim that Arkan had no effective influence on their group,althou they admit that he was in fact their member.He was a war criminal and since then he was,until his murder,Persona non grata on the North side of Maracana stadium.

Thats a lie,Arkan was ACCUSED of war crimes,not sentenced.And he was persona non grata,because he weas the president of the rival football club Obilic FC.Otherwise he was,and still is very much respected on the north side of Marakana

Ok, if someone on North stand still have respect for Arkan,that is personal,but,it s true,the most of them respect Arkan.However,Arkan was not the leader of Delije group,or he lead the supporting on tribine,on North side.Maybe just once he was on North,against Grasshoppers 1990.But he just tried to lead the singing and cheering etc...He isn t true leader of Red Star ultra fans.He was mostly among the fans because the war is nocking on the doors in Yugoslavia.That is the reason why he was in the club.To call for the battle,cause the Red Star fans are patriots,pride nationalists and very good material for recruitment...I mean,everybody knows that Arkan wasn t guy from the football stadium,especially ultra fan guy..Cmon,people!!!!! GATE 7

1986. године Црвена Звезда је играла са Панатинаикосом у главном граду Грчке, а на утакмици се појавила и група Олимпијакосових навијача која је дошла да упозна Делије. Тада је остварен први контакт. Грци нам у првом периоду помажу око набавке навијачких реквизита, а Делије су им повремено одлазиле у посету.

Када је 1992. године дошло до новог сусрета са Панатинаикосом, они су у Атини донели транспарент са натписом "Good luck Red Star - GATE 7". То је изазвало ерупцију негодовања навијача "зелених". Наши навијачи су отпоздравили скандирањем "Олимпијакос, Олимпијакос" што је домаће навијаче још више разљутило. Након укидања санкција 1994. године, прва међународна утакмица коју је Звезда одиграла била је баш против Олимпијакоса на Маракани, и уочи тог пријатељског меча Делије су изнеле огромни транспарнт "Welcome Orthodox brothers", да би 1995. године на пријатељском сусрету у Атини они узвратили на исти начин.

Често се на нашем и Олимијакосовом стадиону могу видети обележја братских клубова. Такође, посете и сусрети на европским утакмицама нису реткост. Посете Делија у Торину против Јувентуса, у Монаку против Монака, док су Олимијакосови посетили нас у Швајцарској против Јанг Бојса и у Бону на кошарци, такође и посета Делија њиховом дербију против Панатинаикоса 2004. године.
