Downtown[edit]

Since Downtown Delray is expanding so rapidly I decided to include a section dedicated to it. There are tons of new residential and mixed use buildings go up. It is quickly becoming a "city". Please expand upon this section. Jamais vu

Could anyone perhaps load a picture of a street in the downtown?

Sure thing, I have over 100 shots of Delray in my archives, I'll go find some and add them. ReignMan 07:38, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Flowers for Delray Beach[edit]

Can we add Brandon Flowers in the notable people section? Not the lead singer of The Killers, lol, but the All Pro NFL Cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.109.93.98 (talk) 16:26, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Government - Delray Beach[edit]

Good afternoon, The names of Mayor, Commissioners and City Manager were not correct on the Delray Beach, Florida page. I edited the page to reflect the correct names:

Mayor - Cary Glickstein Vice Mayor - Al Jacquet Commissioners - Deputy Vice Mayor Jordana Jarjura, Mitchell Katz, Shelly Petrolia City Manager - Donald B. Cooper City Clerk - Chevelle D. Nubin

I saved the changes and all looks correct. However, if I exit and access the website, type in Delray Beach in the search box and hit enter, the old data appears. If I hit type Delray Beach, Florida or select it from the pull down menu, the correct info appears. The destination page seems to appear to be the same, but I don't know why the text is incorrect one way (Delray Beach) and correct the another way (Delray Beach, Florida). Your assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.132.106.33 (talk) 18:29, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Opioid epidemic[edit]

The sub-section on the opioid epidemic in the History section needs attention. The only sources cited are to newspaper reports from 2016 and 2017. I know that the rate of overdose deaths in Delray Beach remains high, although it is not the highest in Palm Beach County (see [1]), but a quick Google search did not turn up any recent news coverage. If something is not receiving significant coverage in reliable sources, then we do not include it in Wikipedia. The section may have to be rewritten to confine coverage to the late 2010s. If reliable sources that provide significant recent coverage of the problem in Delray Beach can be found, then the section needs to be updated to include coverage of the continuing problem.
