Work by DKA Director of Chapter Services[edit]

Hello, I have updated the today section, it is now accurate. I've also gone through and updated current collegiate chapters. I'm unsure what the crest deletion dispute means, but the coat of arms that is currently set as the main picture is the official coat of arms of the fraternity. Feel free to reach out if you have any comments or questions.

Thanks, Andy Dulman Director of Chapter Services (650) 302-1248 andy@deltakappaalpha.com Celine1018 (talk) 17:23, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the additions that you have made. There are a few things that were added that I have concerns with.
  • The addition of the "To start a chapter of Delta Kappa Alpha on your campus, please visit our Expansion page.". "Please" generally isn't encyclopedic and anyone desiring to start a chapter would naturally go to the official National page and look there (which they'll find.
  • Most of the Section in "Today" is not "Neutral Point of View". The section starting "In the Spring of 2009" is probably OK, the rest looks like a "Rush" pamphlet/advertisement.
  • The list of officers (especially the Other officer positions) doesn't seem appropriate and the pdf seems much more appropriate to have on the DKA website, not Wikipedia.
  • In the *really* minor category, you may want the first column to sort based on the greek letter, not the spelling of the greek letter in english.Naraht (talk) 18:28, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much! If you hadn't called I wouldn't have had the opportunity to better understand the purpose of wikipedia - so thank you for going above and beyond. I updated the today section to be far more encyclopedia-like. Thank you for all your help! Celine1018 (talk) 22:26, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
