Checklist[edit]

GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose is "clear and concise", without copyvios, or spelling and grammar errors:
some contractions that you may want to clean up but it's not required.
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
Lead is too short and does not adequately summarize the contents of the article. See WP:Lead. Also see comment 5 below
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. Has an appropriate reference section:
    B. Cites reliable sources, where necessary:
Direct quotations require inline attribution after them so that they can be properly verified
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
It may be that sources are limited but the article feels rather short, as if information or other aspects of the organization could be expanded upon. Though as the organization is rather small, I could understand a lack of sources or activity. Feel free to advise me on this.
    B. Focused (see summary style):
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content:
    B. Images are provided if possible and are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
    see comment 4 below
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:

Comments[edit]

1. Delta Psi's new facility was a magnificent Queen Anne structure built in 1882 by deceased Burlington businessman Edward Wells. Magnificent here seems a little non-neutral. The description is enough; readers should determine for themselves whether it is magnificent or not.
2. That year, several members were arrested during what university officials described as a hazing incident in which it was alleged[...] You should add a citation here, to be on the safe side, as it seems mildly controversial and, as it occurred in 2003, may involve living people which means it should probably be source.
3. It's also been speculated... by whom?
4. UVM Williams Hall picture is not related to the topic beyond both being related to UVM. Was the organization founded in Williams Hall? Were ceremonies held there? What does the picture provide beyond mere decoration?
(Optional) Text sandwiched between two images doesn't look very good, but WP:IMAGES compliance isn't required.

Result[edit]

On hold for 7 days pending the changes suggested. Depending on progress, an extension may be given. If you have questions or comments about anything feel free to ask. Wugapodes (talk) 04:36, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not Listed Issues have gone unaddressed and despite attempts to get in touch with the creator and nominator, no response has been given and they seem to be inactive. Wugapodes (talk) 20:28, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
