Who?[edit]

ruthlessly hunting down the fugitive, and they kill the Tollmaster Who is this? It is the first mention of this name. Maury Markowitz (talk) 16:43, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Within the context of the tollport, master of the tollport. Probably shouldn't be in capitalized though. DonQuixote (talk) 16:51, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Typo[edit]

Corrected the reference to it being fixed for the 1991 reprint. Nope, still there and still funny. 70.72.211.35 (talk) 00:36, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have searched for hours to find a citation for this claim that isn't coming from a fan site, a blog or a wikia. Unfortunately I found no RS mentioning this typo, although I can attest to having read about it on fan sites. However, this being an encyclopedia, a fan site is not considered an RS source so I'm removing the (albeit interesting and amusing) claim. If someone can find an RS source for the claim, by all means add it back, along with the citation for the source. Kind regards, Curdigirl (talk) 03:36, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copy Editors Guild Backlog elimination drive March 2017[edit]

Hi there! This article was tagged for copy editing and was included in the March 2017 Copy Editors Guild Backlog elimination drive. I'm running through the article to give it a general once over for copy editing. I'll share any questions, comments or significant findings here. Curdigirl (talk) 01:00, 19 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm finding quite a bit of unsourced material which -may-be original research. As a Dr. Who fan, I'd like to keep as much material intact as possible so I'm attempting to verify the material. I have removed some non-neutral language which I couldn't verify in any of the sources that I provided. Of course, Tardis wiki has an absolute ton of source material but being a fan wiki, it is not an RS that could be used for this article. I'll circle back here with findings on any particular unverified information — Preceding unsigned comment added by Curdigirl (talkcontribs) 02:31, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Removed statements about the "famous typo" and Kate Orman + Navarinos. In both cases, despite seeing the statement on fan sites and self-published blogs, no RS/independent, non-self-published source could be found for either statement. Curdigirl (talk) 21:24, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
