According to what I've heard, I don't even know...

I'd like to learn more about the Berbers.

Statistics completly outdated

Those statistcis are completly outdated, as they are extracted from the CIA world factbook which is based on estimation, they don't include numbers from the 2004 census--Khalid hassani 17:18, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

===>I'd like to have new statistics... But, the problem is, if they were conducted by the Kingdom of Morocco, these censuses will probably include inhabitants of Western Sahara, which is totally inappropriate for this article. We would need a third-party statistics-gathering resource, and/or meticulous data so Saharan stats could be rooted out before putting them in this article.

The statistics you are asking for simply don't exist as far as I know. It's commonly admitted that the population of Western Sahara is less that 300 000 people even by the UN and if we take the Spanish census as starting point, and this even if we take into account Moroccan settlements. This is about 1% of The Moroccan population, which is much less than the error rate of a census, so technically and statistically the Moroccan numbers are correct. On The other side, the CIA fact book estimations themselves which the article use are based on governemental statistics (probably the 1994 census), so by your logic they are biaised exactly in the same way--Khalid hassani 22:02, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
Khalid, it appears the stats have been partly updated to the Sep 2004 census statistics, is that correct? (Collounsbury 16:38, 1 March 2006 (UTC))

Saharwi non Arab?

Who wrote that silly tripe? They're bloody Arabic speakers by birth. (collounsbury 09:58, 2 April 2007 (UTC)).

The map on foreigners in Morocco

The link cited as the source of this Map on foreigners in Morocco refers to data on Algeria not Morocco, I checked the data on Morocco and it does not correspond to the image on the map, it does not correspond to the data on Algeria either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.97.241.249 (talk) 07:53, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

2014 census

I'll be updating census data during the following days. However the 2014 census may not have all the statistics that it had in 2004. Will check that. Xerxes (contact)

The principal ethic group in Morocco

The principal ethic group in Morocco are the Berbers not the Arabs, like wth ? And then someone come and give a definition of << Arabs>> claiming that if a person speak Arabic then she is << Arab>> from Britannica? First Moroccan don't speak the Arabic language they speak tree languages but principally Darija(about 80% of the population) , Darija is a far from being Arabic even if some linguistic considerate it a variety of Arabic it's mix of many languages including the Berber the French Arabic (old Arabic not actual Arabic ) and Spanish. The second thing is that the Arabs are just a minority in Morocco they are about 144 000 bedoin Arabs if you read the article about Moroccan people you'll find that most of Moroccans are principally of berber descent with small minority of Gnwa and Andalusian descent . And thirdly if you are so tired to make some research about the principal moroccan ethnicity don't post a definition of what is Arab or what Arab means because that's just ridiculous and have nothing to do with the demography of Morocco.
