The sub regions of UP depicted in the map are wrong[edit]

The sub regions of UP depicted in the article reflect the political ambitions of some, not the real sub regions of UP. E.g., Harit Pradesh is (was) the ambition of a political party and does not constitute a geographical or political sub-region. In fact, it consists of parts of Doab, Rohilkhand and Awadh. Likewise, the Awadh region shown in the map actually consists large parts of Doab. This map needs to be replaced. Does someone has an objection to it? Change "Allahabad" and "Faizabad" District to "Prayagraj" and "Ayodhya" District respectively. As the name of these 2 districts has been restored to their respective original names. AashishJha26 (talk) 07:37, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done and won't be done - as we always use the common-name in English, not the "official" name - Arjayay (talk) 10:25, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Under the subsection Racial and ancestral makeup, when it talks about about Muslims in the second paragraph, please delete the sentence about Rohillas as there is no source to back this up.--2600:100C:A211:92FA:3861:2F42:4B1A:876E (talk) 06:00, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
