Article's name?[edit]

The article's name needs changing by an admin, please; it ought to read something more like the following: Denel Y-3 40mm AGL. Thank you! :) ~ ghost32O3; 12:41, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Why? The title does not have to be a complete description. Roger (talk) 18:49, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! The weapon in question is actually listed officially [for sale, on the manufacturer's website, as well as in Jane's Infantry Weapons], as a 'Denel Y-3 AGL'.
Vektor is a company that got taken over by Denel a while ago, and no-one bothered to change the Wikipedia article title. That's all :)
I'm not terribly fussed to be honest, just recommended it for consideration :(
Kind regards,

Good point! The current manufacturer is Denel Land Systems and btw they use "Vektor" as the brand name for their civillian products. I'll move the page. Roger (talk) 06:57, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

After some digging I have found that DLS actually calls it the "GLI-40" while "Y3" is actually the SANDF's designation, although in earlier publications Denel used the Y3 designation. Roger (talk) 07:33, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Weight listed in side panel under specifications is wrong?[edit]

the weight of the system by itself is higher than the weight of the system + tripod? I am unsure if that is an error, maybe the tripod weight listed is the tripod by itself not added? Not sure to correct it or not. Nathanielfirst (talk) 17:03, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
