Replacement of this article[edit]

Hey! This article is very very very very very (...) out of date. The Department of Public Works ceased to be since at least 2012 and has been the Department of Housing and Public Works (with a completely different scope) since. I've written a replacement article which is now complete enough to replace this article. If there are no objections, I would like to move this article to Department of Housing and Public Works and replace this entire article with the replacement article. Speedy delete[edit]

Hey! I'm still getting a hand over exactly how to do this, but I thought I could just merge my [rewrite] of this article over the top. Dumb me! This delete is just to clear out the article namespace so I can move that rewrite in. This article hasn't seen any significant work since 2014, and has been under the Department of Public Works (Queensland) article namespace for years, despite the department being renamed to Housing and Public Works (and basically restarting itself) back in 2012.
