Number of arrondissements[edit]

I just updated the article to include Keur Massar, the 46th department, created in May 2021. The source I used says that Keur Massar includes arrondissements Malika, Yeumbeul, and Jaxaay. I think these are all new, since Malika, Yeumbeul Nord, and Yeumbeul Sud appear only as communes in Niayes Arrondissement, and I don't see Jaxaay mentioned anywhere. Offhand I'd say this brings the arrondissement count from 103 to 106 but I'm not sure. This is why I placed the {{dubious}} tag next to the 103. Lots of updates needed[edit]

By the way, this update probably has consequences in a number of related articles! As well as more in this one, as the Senegal and Dakar Region maps need to be replaced. Largoplazo (talk) 00:34, 12 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
