Not to be confused with Durba (aka Derba), which also has a cement factory, but is north of Addis Ababa. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 15:53, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, this is not the same Derba as the site of the cement factory. The coordinates given for this Derba place it much further than 70km from Addis (more like 100 or 120 400km; I'm not even sure it's in Oromia Region). The article that said 70km south of Addis is mistaken. But this document is more specific about it being in Shululta near Chancho, thus referring to the Derba (or Durba) which is also the location of the Muger Cement Factory. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 16:33, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also note that the Shebedino article says a town called "Derba" is in that woreda, but that would be quite a bit to the north (and as such does not appear in the Nordic Africa Institute's Local History). I am guessing there are multiple places called Derba. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 17:16, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The Central Statistical Agency provides population figures for two Derbas, one in Shebedino woreda, the other in Mulona Sululta. This is the more populated of the two. -- llywrch (talk) 19:45, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
