Sections[edit]

Hi all, A couple of times I have broken the page on Derek Townsley into what seems like sensible headed paragraphs. Someone keeps changing this back so obviously doesn't think this is a good idea.

Opinion please? Regards, Socheid (talk) 22:44, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it because the article is too "bitty" with it split up by each club Townsley played for. The article is presently only six paragraphs long and doesn't need sections. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 17:43, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, Can I humbly suggest that breaking the article into sections based makes it easier to read? The format otherwise just looks like a bit of waffling. Breaking up into sections also makes it easier for anyone reading the article only interested in a certain period of Townsley's career. It makes it easier to find the section in question.

I have changed the format again to give three distinct sections. I think breaking it up by each and every club is excessive, particularly for players like Townsley who have had many different clubs. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 10:22, 12 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again,

Good work. 3 sections seems about right in my humble opinion. I have made a couple of small changes, specifically to the headings. This is primarily from the previous headings not indicating that Townsley has had 2 spells at Gretna.

Your opinion please?

Yeah, I think that's good. Jmorrison230582 (talk) 17:41, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Top man,

I look forward to working with you again.
