Woodward Avenue Light Rail[edit]

There needs to be made some mention somewhere on the page of Woodward Avenue Light Rail, which DDOT would manage and operate upon its completion. --Criticalthinker (talk) 02:15, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Facilities[edit]

As I do more research and get more information, I'll be adding a section to the article called "Facilities" which will detail the major depots (Coolidge and Shoemaker) and transfer stations/interchanges (Rose Parks, Northland, Eastland, Fairlane and Fair Grounds). However, if someone is able to get this information before I do, please add it, and I'll see what I can do to help or add. DDOT may have lost a lot of its infrastructure, but it's still a major transit agency, and the page needs to reflect that and not just its history. --Criticalthinker (talk) 00:20, 2 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wanted downtown Detroit 1978-2003 streetcar photos[edit]

c:Category:Detroit Citizens’ Railway: This category has an rather complete tree of subcategories (covered all but two fleet items) all pretty much categorized — it is only lacking photographs (or other media items). I tried to populate it using stuff already in Commons and in other free media repositories, to no avail. Any suggestions…? -- Tuválkin 23:44, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Former routes[edit]

This section is inconsistent with how most transit pages are done. Given that routes are modified fairly regularly, if this is to be kept, it should be in a closed drop-down menu. The current routes also take up much of the page inconsistent with how transit pages are done. --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:21, 15 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. This section is trivia and should be deleted. 96.27.35.110 (talk) 06:11, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Daily ridership[edit]

Where did the figures go for "daily ridership", which consistent with other wiki tranist pages is a very important - and probably most important - measure of ridership to be included in the infobox? I see annual ridership now appears to be automated? I experimented with template, but couldn't figure it out. Anyway, we have daily (weekday) ridership for Q3 2022 reported to the APTA as is typical: https://www.apta.com/wp-content/uploads/2022-Q3-Ridership-APTA.pdf Criticalthinker (talk) 07:48, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DDOT Reimagined[edit]

As was more concern, before, people are adding information that is making sections too long, particularly given that this is a proposal and not just that but the draft of a proposal, not even necessarily the final one. This is not consistent with wiki articles; we don't do full punch-for-punch rundowns like this. Clean this article up. We don't need to list ALL the proposed route changes; we need a general description of some of the more significant changes (BRT routes, for instance) and that's it. People can click through the citation for greater detail. Criticalthinker (talk) 22:55, 7 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
