deleted the bit about 'white noise', it's simply the backing track getting louder for a second. Nickflavor 09:25, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

Origin

How could the song be based on something that came to West's attention after the song was completed? -Unknownwarrior33 22:33, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

The remix of the song was, the original song, which this article is about, wasn't, though the video was.

Why isnt there any mention of the David Banner remix that prompted the re-recording by Kanye with more politically sensitive lyrics?

Which version won best rap song 2006? The original or remix? The article seems to imply the remix, but I can't seem to be able to find out for sure. All the official stuff I find has no (Remix) mentioned. It should be more clear.

Didn't Saul Williams have something to do with Kanye West's new lyrics?

Wrong title?

I always read about this song being named "Diamonds Are from Sierra Leone". --Ifrit (talk) 02:00, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
