Nominated article for deletion[edit]

I have nominated the article for deletion because it has been proposed since Sep 2011 that the article be merged with the main Wonder Woman article as "Even real people do not get a separate article for their real name and pseudonym, and this character has zero notability except as Wonder Woman". The same has been suggested for Superman's identity Clark Kent who also has a separate article for both aliases. Observing Batman, a featured article's secret identity section, i copy-pasted the OVERVIEW section of this article over to the main Wonder Woman article and added additional references and updates. We do not need this article. --WonderBoy1998 (talk) 18:14, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There was no discussion post on the WW talk page so I started one. I notice the deletion nom for Clark Kent is gone now, and that there are plenty of other DC characters who have articles under their civilian names. It's not clear that there's any rule about which civilian identities get their own articles. Aristophanes68 (talk) 20:26, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There are no rules on Wikipedia, but the guideline we follow regarding notability is WP:GNG, which states "If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list." This is true of any topic, even secret identities. I am not saying whether or not this article meets this criteria just informing you of our guidelines. If you suspect that an article does not meet this criteria you may nominate it for deletion.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 20:37, 28 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm inclined to think that a merger proposal from 2011 that received no serious discussion for three years can probably safely be removed? Aristophanes68 (talk) 17:07, 30 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wonder Woman's Military Service WWII[edit]

Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) is report to have served as "she was a WAVES yeoman in the 1940s."; a Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES) Her WWII Military service was an Army Nurse, this would give her the title of a WAC (Women's Army Corp's). A further look at WACs or the WAACs (Women's Army Auxiliary Corps) can be found outlined by Women's Army Corps Commemoration of WWII Service, or a more indefinite look from the US Army History (Special Studies).

Change page[edit]

This page should only be about the first Diana Prince, not Wonder Woman's alias. It's like having one page for Peter Parker and one page for Spider-Man. This page should only include information about the Diana Prince who Princess Diana buys the identity from. - 2804:431:CFDC:8777:CD4F:3128:8D84:AED1 16:30, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
