WikiProject / Lead Paragraph Questions[edit]

Hello All,

I am new to the Wikipedia community and I need help editing this page.

1. Shouldn't this article be added to the WikiProject Theatre? Paulus is more of a theatrical director than opera.

It's OK for an article to belong to more than one WikiProject. I suggest adding WP:WikiProject Theatre before WP:WikiProject Opera as you point out, she does more of the former than the later. You could also add this article to WP:WikiProject New York and WP:WikiProject Massachusetts. Might also be others this biography fits in. Lentower (talk) 17:35, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2. The lead paragraph should include that Paulus was the 2013 recipient of the Tony Award for Best Director of a Musical (Pippin), as this is one of her defining achievements to date.

Awards are usually not mentioned in the lead. There are two other shows she brought to the American Repertory Theatre, then to NYC, that have won Tony Awards. Not sure if she also got a Director's Tony or nomination for either, but it's worth adding in a way that is clear, the award wasn't for her, but for a show she produced. I am still trying to learn the editing process, and that is why I have not made any edits myself. Thanks so much!

Please just start editing. There are enough other editors following this article, that we'll improve on your work, if needed. You'll learn you about editing much quicker this way. I.e. just BE BOLD!! Lentower (talk) 17:35, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Time 100 list?[edit]

Wasn't Diane Paulus just named to one of Time magazine 100 lists? If true, the citation should be found, and this added to the article. Lentower (talk) 01:08, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Diane was named one of the Time 100. I looked at the articles history, and someone had already added the information, but Cydebot deleted the entry, see Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2014 April 28 207.87.172.34. All the Way?[edit]

Didn't the play All the Way taken by Pauls from the a compnay in Oregon? to the ART to Broadway, just win a Tony? Did Paulus get Best Director? If yes to either, find the citations and add the text. Lentower (talk) 01:16, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
