The result of the move request was: Moved as proposed  — Amakuru (talk) 10:32, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

– No WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, as the Argentine singer doesn't have 10x the views of the pages combined, and there's a lot of pages. Diego Fabián Torres for example gets 450 page views to Diego Torres 1000. Also, WP:COMMONNAME of all footballers is just "Diego Torres", so disambiguate to match the standard for footballers. Ortizesp (talk) 14:33, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose all. Since when is 10x everything combined a requirement? I don't see a lack of primary topic. Also, using second last names is common for WP:NATURAL disambiguation. Red Slash 18:43, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • 10x is the norm I've seen for WP:PRIMARYTOPICs, maybe some other editor can comment on this. The current "Diego Torres" is hardly a primary topic, especially because so many people share the name. Second, secondary last names sometimes work for WP:NATURAL but the guideline says "Do not, however, use obscure or made-up names." In most of these cases, the middle and secondary last names are only obscurely used and not their actual WP:COMMONNAME so parenthetics is a better disambiguator.--Ortizesp (talk) 20:55, 22 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support for the four footballers at least, recent consensus at WP:FOOTY is that COMMONNAME with birthyear disambiguation is the correct naming convention. Keskkonnakaitse (talk) 16:08, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related page moves. GiantSnowman 21:21, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - lack of PRIMARYTOPIC. GiantSnowman 21:24, 23 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support the disambiguation page move and the singer's article move (neutral on others). The actual criterion is "...much more likely than any other single topic, and more likely than all the other topics combined...". My interpretation of the page views is that they do not clearly show that the musician is the primary topic. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:39, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nomination, Keskkonnakaitse, GiantSnowman and Shhhnotsoloud. The Argentine musical personality does not have sufficient standing in the English-speaking world for automatic elevation to WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 02:35, 28 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. KingSkyLord (talk | contribs) 01:21, 29 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Incoming links[edit]

This disambiguation page has a large number of incoming links, most intended for Diego Torres (singer), which I will try to fix later on if the disambig project don't get there first.  — Amakuru (talk) 10:38, 31 January 2020 (UTC)`[reply]
