Confusion over article?

Is there really any need for This article is about the British Disney Channel. For other Disney Channels, see Disney Channel around the world.. I can understand people going straight to the American Article so I think a British redirect is good, but will not know 'Disney Channel (UK)' is just about the Disney Channel in Britain. Disney Channel HD: will it happen?

There seems to be confusion over whether or not there will be a Disney Channel HD. In an email sent to Disney UK in November 2010, they said that there is the possibility of launch in 2011. I emailed Disney Channel UK a couple of weeks ago, and they informed me that "There are no plans at the moment for the new Disney Channel Logo, widescreen or HD." Tomgates (talk) 12:23, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Disney channel new logo

DISNEY CHANNEL UK HAS EMAILED ME STATING: "Thank you so much for your lovely e-mail regarding the Disney Channel. GET IT SORTED!

It's ridiculous how often things are changing and conflicting on this page.

Lets get things clarified on this page. Disney Channel HD will launch on Friday 16th September!!! Disney Channel started using the smartphone type logo on 1st September!!! Disney Channel used widescreen as its mainstream from 1st September!!! Why is the 1080i format new??? HD 1080i has been out for ages. The purpose of Lemondade mouth is not to introduce the HD channel, its the other way round.
