Domenikon Village Website[edit]

Is the Domenikon Village Website really a reliable third-party source independent of the subject? If it happened in the village, how could anyone there be independent of the subject in any respect? Regards, Peacemaker67 (crack... thump) 12:10, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Both Vima and the Village Website use the official complaints sent by the Hellenic Gendarmerie Captain as sources.Moreover the Village Website contains the complaint texts in full.--Catlemur (talk) 12:16, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The sources we got are the official complaints and comments made by the local population that survived the massacre (women). The above sources created the basis for a reparations lawsuit as well the official recognition of the event as a massacre by the Greek State.--Catlemur (talk) 12:59, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps better sources exist, yet they are not in my possession. There was also an Italian investigation into the matter in the 90's, the sources provide no details of the outcome.--Catlemur (talk) 13:52, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Because the Vima article (Vima is one of the largest newspapers in Greece) and the official recognition of the massacre by the Greek State were based on the accounts and reports.--Catlemur (talk) 08:42, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
