I've just drastically edited this section, and I'm not sure I've gone far enough. I've seen it on other pages for EE producers too - excessive detail on character introductions. It doesn't belong on a page that's supposed to be about the producer's career. The introduction of the Carters is notable because they've become the dominant family in the show; very young child actors being replaced is a ten-a-penny event in TV production, and as for the real name of a dog that features on the show (yes, someone really added that), I'm not sure it's even notable enough to feature on the EE page, never mind that of its producer.
