Another possible solution to the routing problem[edit]

The way I see it, it could be done this way:

(starts off like the Redway Road routing, but goes underground at Millwood Road and Overlea Boulevard)

1. Instead of turning left onto Redway Road, continue on Millwood Road and turn left onto Southvale Drive (which becomes Moore Avenue)

2. Continue on Moore and turn left onto Mt. Pleasant Road

3. Continue south on Mt. Pleasant Road until Crescent Road, where then it turns right, then left a little in order to align with Sherbourne

4. Continue to Sherbourne Station, which will be the terminus.

Some of the problems with this route, though, are the cost of the tunneling, and how the LRT is going to affect the environment, residents, and how it is going to get across several places where there is a ravine/valley (ex. Rosedale Valley).

In addition, it wouldn't be connected with the Downtown Relief Line.

The major stops will probably be at:

Southvale Drive and Millwood Road

Moore Avenue and Bayview Avenue (where it overlaps the Route 88 bus route, overlap ends at Welland Avenue)

Moore Avenue and Mt. Pleasant Road or Mt. Pleasant Road and St. Clair Avenue East (overlaps Route 74 bus route and Route 141 bus route from Moore Avenue to St. Clair along Mt. Pleasant)

Mt. Pleasant and Whitehall Road

Sherbourne Station
