Please Note[edit]

Someone edited this article to be included in the categories "Drunks" and "Village Idiots." To the best of my knowledge these claims are ill found and thus not appropriate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.5.109.34 (talk) 00:05, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

A great deal of the criticism section is based off of Akronwatch.org, which is slanted, and doesn't make for a very reliable source. I went ahead and cited them to the site (they had been uncited), but if anyone can find some newspaper sources that discuss these points, they should be used instead. 69.221.142.162 (talk) 05:25, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The issue with the Akron Beacon Journal as a source (I live in Akron) is that it is about as slanted as a newspaper can get. I truly believe Plusquellic's PR people (why the hell does a Mayor need a PR staff, anyway?) write it and there is no question that, if they don't actually write it, they oversee and edit it. 24.166.43.185 (talk) 17:29, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
