MC - check suggested[edit]

This article quotes an apparent citation for award of the Military Cross. I suggest a wide checking against other reference sources like Who's Who and Burke's Peerage, as I find his MC does not appear to be recognised by Debrett's Handbook 1982, his TD being the only decoration initial given. The London Gazette would be a better source for British decoration citations. Cloptonson (talk) 18:37, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Irrelevant Citation for death[edit]

The news item used in citation for Kaberry's death does not mention Kaberry at all. It is a CBS online report about the more recent death of MP Jo Cox. I have looked through the story, it only names MPs attacked since 2000.Cloptonson (talk) 18:43, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Cloptonson: Keep on reading: "A former lawmaker, Donald Kaberry, was injured in an IRA bombing in 1990 and died the next year.", three paragraphs before the end. PamD 07:15, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you - a-blink-and-you-miss-it mention. (I was reading later in day).Cloptonson (talk) 07:20, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But it's irrelevant to the citation. If the citation is confirmation of his death, there are surely better sources than an unrelated article about a different MP being murdered. 80.44.124.218 (talk) 16:46, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

We should change the name to just Donald Kaberry - there is no other person listed with that name[edit]

@2A02:C7F:9884:C000:A4F5:9EA3:CD3F:22F4 Looking at Category:Life peers created by Elizabeth II suggests that this is our convention for Barons, so we should leave it as is. PamD 13:17, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
