Doniéber Alexander Marangon or Doniéber Alexander Marangão[edit]

According to the Brazilian Football Confederation official database, his correct name is Doniéber Alexander Marangão. If no one opposes, on July, 30, 2007 (one week from now) I will move the article to the name according to the Brazilian Football Confederation. --Carioca 01:54, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On AS Roma's official site he is known as "Marangon" which is a Venetian surname, maybe "Marangão" is the brazilianization of his surname... --Gaúcho 17:17, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Or he was born as Marangão, but to obtain an Italian passport, change back to original spelling. Just leave him at COMMONLY KNOWN ONE. Matthew_hk tc 07:53, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

His brother?[edit]

Infobox[edit]

I think someone should modify the infobox so it looks proper. I tried, but they aren't my one of my areas of expertise. Thanks Elio ''del'' '''Rio''' (talk) 02:01, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

General Grammer etc.[edit]

This article is quite badly written. Someone with a better grasp of English should really re-write the whole thing. If I get time later this week I may do this.

Move[edit]

I don't understand why this was moved from "Doni (footballer)" to "Doni (Brazilian footballer)". There aren't any other footballers of this name so why is the added disambiguation needed? Mattythewhite (talk) 14:15, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There is Cristiano Doni, and some minor Brazilian footballer also called "Doni" (a nickname for people with Donizetti (surname or given name), such as Aparecido Donizetti). That's the reason Mancini (Brazilian footballer) existed. Matthew_hk tc 10:45, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
