more work needed[edit]

I corrected a few aspects of this article per the obituary cited, but couldn't find much about her except 1930 and 1930 census records on ancestry.com's library edition and didn't choose to order her obituary in the October 6, 2012 edition of the Fort Lauderdale paper. She may have had a home at 326 Strawtown Road in New City, New York, as well as an apartment or studio on MacDougal Street in New York City proper and another in Hollywood, Florida (which really isn't near Orlando despite the Wilmington NC obituary). Gillespie may have taken her husband's name in the 1950s, because I couldn't find her in ancestry's census records in a fairly quick search of both her and her husband (whose name is quite common and I don't have the time to do more).

While more work is clearly needed (and her foundation apparently decided against cleaning up this bio or adding photos, which it might well have under copyright), I don't think it deserves a refimprove tag any longer.Jweaver28 (talk) 18:35, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
