It's been quite some years since I read this trilogy, but I'm startled by the complete failure of this article to mention Roger Bacon (who obviously belongs after a spoiler warning seperator).--Peter Knutsen 07:35, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Role of Roger Bacon[edit]

I read this almost two decades ago and forgot the bit about Bacon. Considering the whole business and his brief appearance towards the end, he did play a significant role, sort of a deus ex machina to "tell" rather than "reveal" about the whole alternate universe business, but he didn't really have any role to play in the plot developments. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Snowybeagle (talk • contribs) 00:54, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
