Thomas Ind[edit]

217.41.48.33 (talk · contribs) added the following text to the list of millers:-

T M Ind. born December 1826, died 24th August 1900. Son of a Tetbury Farmer who graduated at Madison University in Hamilton New York and thence to the Seminary where he became a Baptist Minister in 1856. Took USA nationality and risked his life to help escaped slaves but returned to England, Married Mary Smith Uncles of Tetbury and moved to Draper's Mills Margate, The Mill was left in his will to his sons, Frederick, Herbert, and Charles. His obituary was recorded in the "Thanet Times" Newspaper of 30th August 1900.

Apart from the expansion of Ind's name, this text should really be under the history of the mill but it needs referencing. The source could be the newspaper mentioned but I'm unable to confirm this. Mjroots (talk) 18:25, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
