Fair use rationale for Image:AllmansDreamsCover.jpg[edit]

Image:AllmansDreamsCover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Needs Some Cleaning[edit]

This article looks as if it was put together in a hurry, which is likely was. The description sounds like a copy-and-paste from another source, said copy-and-paste missing enough context for its second sentence to make sense. The track listing also only has notes for if a track is "maybe" unreleased, and has no mention if a song was a recording by The Allman Brothers, the Allman Joys, the Hour Glass, etc. and doesn't note that a couple live songs on the box set are indeed live. Not to mention the big ugly personnel list. I think I'm done with my edits for now. I'm still not sure what to do about the personnel list; it's a good thing as far as a completeness is concerned (though it def needs cleaning up what with the stray commas and the like), but it's probably plain excessive and should maybe be removed altogether for that reason. --Stop being such an awesome (talk) 00:57, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to put it back then. It's true that it's just a big long list of everyone, which is not an ideal situation, but I think the article is better with it than without out. But, thanks for the other improvements. — Mudwater^(Talk) 01:29, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In that case, somebody's gonna have to go through it and fix it up. The things like "guitar" followed by "guitar (acoustic)" and coexisting with things like "guitar (electric)" is kinda iffy, not to mention there's people who are listed who haven't played a part in the creation of this album or the material on it (for example, Warren Haynes is listed as personnel, but none of his work with the ABB is on Dreams because his first recorded work with them was released in 1990) (scratch that, I suppose Haynes probably appeared on one or more of the Betts solo numbers on here). --Stop being such an awesome (talk) 01:43, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
