Sounds like an advert[edit]

Sounds like an advertisement for the castle rather than an informative article. 159.99.6.80 (talk) 03:51, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone ever comes across an article that seems too much like an advert you can add a template like this one, at the top of the article. Don't be afraid to edit and improve articles.--Celtus (talk) 09:10, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No real information[edit]

What about when it was build? Who built it? Who lived there? Is this only a tourist attraction? No history here.Rstarcher (talk) 10:53, 23 January 2013 (UTC)RWS[reply]

You are quite right, its not a great article. Why not have a bash at improving it? Jonathan Oldenbuck (talk) 11:52, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Oldest inhabited in all of Britain?[edit]

"Dunvegan Castle is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland" I just saw the castle featured on Globetrekker and they said its the oldest still inhabited in all of Britain. Should the wording be changed? --98.246.156.76 (talk) 23:36, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you can find a suitable reference, then yes. Ben MacDui 08:07, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Have you ever seen Globetrekker? I mean, I was curious if you think it would qualify as a good reference. --98.246.156.76 (talk) 01:37, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It is not the best reference in the world but it is better than nothing. However dunvegancastle.com themselves don't make the claim. I'd suggest adding something like "and possibly Britain" at the end with the globetrek reference. Ben MacDui 08:44, 3 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
