Costumes[edit]

Confirmed characters not to be confirmed[edit]

Pang De and Zuo Ci not being confirmed? Zuo Ci is left to be announced, we don't know about Zuo Ci's returning yet. And also, Pang De might be confirmed as a downloadable content character. KOEI has giving hints leading to this. And Joetri10, please behave in your responses. They hurt people. (calling us morons, and OH, we don't know anything. You're wrong! As the content is downloadable and not on the disk, they are simply not returning, Remember that not everyone has the internet on their computer systems, they shouldn’t be told they are getting something when they are not in some cases. If they do indeed come back as DLC then we should note it down someplace else and not the offical roster character list.. However all my sources has confirmed to me that both are indeed not in the game... DLC is like the extreme legends type thing... I also doubt Characters will be coming into the game as DLC. As for my responses, i simply state things as they are, if you treat people with care on something like that, they will continue to do so thinking it will be taken lightly, anyone can post on Wikipedia and thus should act responsible when editing pages, that means understand what you are putting down... The fact that the guy has weeker sources and is misunderstand solid evidence is just laughable... I get my sources from Japanese Forum Boards and The english Forum board Koei Warriors. I also Get the info from Chin Soon Sun (insp. chin) I am a very very active member on the Koei Warriors board and i note down every bit of Info i get... I know when famitsu and Websites updates are and im there when they come out (most often then not anyway) I am also getting info from Japanese Game streams (one of which is going on as we speak) My sources are much more active then yours is... Chin Soon Sun only gives info when the info is released and cannot again CANNOT give out anything Koei has not given out, meaning you must not get leaks... As for DLC, sources tell me that characters will not appear in it, however many fans choose to dismiss and ignore it because they simply dont choose to believe it... I will also repeat that DLC is not part of the main game product. If DLC is released with characters, we should update the page as that however guessing about DLC is incorrect and misleading info to readers. You getting the game will simply give nothing to this page now as its very much over anyway, if anything is not listed, i will find out Via Japan... K, I'm sorry. Chin just gives me information about english version stuff. He doesn't leak the information that is a no-no to leak. Like for example, he will tell me if the game supports certain stuff, like 3D or if it will be ever released on another platform hopefully. I also know that a PC version is NOT going to be released. New info! Character like Zhang Liao will have the costume of the force he is playing in in story mode. (for example in story mode, Zhang He in Yuan Shao has yellow, and Zhang Liao in Lu Bu's forces has a black costume on) Thanks.

I am well aware of that feature, i have seen Ssx and Xiahou Ba wearing green during the live streams.. I dont think that info is really relevant to be on the page but the others might disagree so they can do it if they want.

Article quality[edit]

It appears this article has been written by a non-native English speaker. Given the lack of information available with regards to the game and its fanbase being primarily in Japan, this is to be expected; the article itself needs to be updated, however. Actually, the English is fine — I saw no problems with the previous edits. In addition, Koei has not released any other information regarding this game; therefore, no edits about this game can be made as for now until the 26th of October when Koei does divulge said information. Beside release date for both is march 2011, meaning she's a new character to both, at the same time. I may be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure there were a fair number of missions including her as an NPC during Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires. So I would argue that she has appeared in a dynasty warriors game before.

The edits he/she was referring to, was not done by him. I have looked at the page, and am certain the table is not meant to be at the bottom, he fixed that situation and has been scolded for it. He didn't however, check character not added by him, but someone else, and posted here asking someone to do it for him, as he was troubled with other things. Simple. I think you owe him an apology for that comment, as everyibe is to edit, to make it better. Take a look at the page, you'll see the table at the bottom, and the characters he asked someone to verify re-added and not by him. Strikeforce 2 page Here, shows what I think this guy is trying to get across, about it not being released yet for many who will read this page. There should NOT be this amount of problems over a simple thing like this. You two are acting like children. To end confusion, many who will view this page, will have no idea about Cao Wenji being in another game. I agree with being a mega DW fan, and was always in question about her being a playable character, as I have every DW game and spin-off, even DW Gundam. Being to fair, to most who read this page, we should note, that Cao Whenji's first appearance in EU or NA game will be Dynasty Warriors 7, where as for a Japanese game is Strikforce 2. This will end loads of confusion, for many who don't look up JP games. I believe this to be fair, and the only way those who are confused to understand. For everyone who views this page, will be looking up info for the EU or NA version of this game, as Japan have their own Wiki. I, and obviously the other guy are ultra fans of DW and for us, her first appearance will be in DW7 as we can't go and buy DWSF2 to play her. All I'm saying is, just a little side note, like the one that states a new character to the series, to say her first appearance in a EU or NA game will be DW7 however, her first appearance in Japan will be DWSF2. Initially I took his word for it, then decided to do the work for myself an research it. At first i found the release date to be 2011, and on further research found it to be 2010. Video is not source enough. A video of Assassins Creed shows main character Altair with a crossbow, yet I've played it several times and never unlocked the crossbow. It's plain logic to think that they would be added — Liu Bei was the general of Shu for a long time, and has been included in the game for ages; as is Sun Quan. Also, it wouldn't make much sense to put the characters in the trailer, fighting against Xiahou Dun, and not include them in the game. Also, although we don't seem to have any evidence of Zhuge Liang in the game, it'd be pretty lame to remove him considering he helped in a considerable amount of battles; and the game stated that it'll extend past the battle of the Wu Zhang Plains, giving a hint that it will be in the game... would be pretty idiotic too to remove one of the most important battles as we­ll lol. Anyways what sense would it make to feature these characters as a main part of the trailer and not include 'em?

You can't rely on the official site for everything, as they do not frequently update it. That's why there are many fansites that exist and a facebook page too, with real images of characters (mainly from Famitsu magazine). These are reliable sources. I was going with, anyone could have created it. Can we prove Koei owns the page? I bring this up, cause on their site, it's added the new Jin characters, but Lu Bu hasn't been added. The most reliable source to go by when editing this page at the moment is the fan site Koei Warriors, which are getting there information from famitsu and Facebook (Which is indeed reliable, it is owned by Koei) the day or release... I advise anyone to edit using that website, they have a page with all the information, if it is not listed on that page, it has not been confirmed.. Please don’t change the page just because you want something/someone in the game... All characters from Strikeforce and Orochi (Including Fu Xi and Nu Wa) are Guest characters and Koei have announced NO Guest characters will appear.. There is a lot of discussion about Wei Yan's one shot image and some argue that it is indeed Wei Yan, but others argue its Guan Suo (who we have yet to see) I would like to ask the others if they would please wait untill i (or anyone else) can find solid proof that it is Wei Yan... The other one shot image we got was Pang Tong, however everyone else is certain its him. Koei has not officially announced Wei Yan or Pang Tong, they showed 2 images which was focusing more on something else then the characters featured in there... There is no solid Proof... Liu Chan is correct spelling of the son of Liu Bei.[edit]

Based on Mandarin Pinyin, the first name of Liu Bei's son is translated as "Chan". However when Taiwan adapted Pinyin recently (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinyin), they made some alterations on the Pinyin spelling of certain words. Like the name "Cao Cao", sometimes they perfer to spell as "Tsao Tsao". To conclude and clarify, Liu Shan is the incorrect Pinyin spelling of the name of Liu Bei's son based on the International Organization for Standardization. Liu Chan is the correct one and Koei spelled it right all along. They definitely checked the more reliable source for that knowledge.

Im not calling that info wrong but Liu Shan is the correct spelling and not Chan, I think this guy is getting his facts mixed up.

Nope, you're wrong. Based on everything I have ever researched and other people I know, the fact states that Shan is the misspelling. With the info Billy gave us, this is solid evidence that the users are misspelling Liu Chan to Liu Shan, Liu Chan is correct.

if i remember correctly, the real spelling means fool aswell, Shan is the one that means that..

new conquest mode[edit]
