Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it records a significant chapter in the history of the gramophone and sound reproduction. I contend that it meets Wikipedia's 'Credible claim of significance'.

Since the first contribution, I've incorporated a number of additional facts to support a credible claim of significance. I request any editor or administrator who disputes this claim to indicate any further editing required to remove the 'speedy deletion' tag. -- Jmc (talk) 03:36, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
