Cameroon-politician-stub[edit]

This template is for politicians from the present Republic of Cameroon which resulted from the union in 1961 of French Cameroon and the British Southern Cameroons. It would be fair enough to use it for French Cameroonian politicians pre-1961, but not for a Southern Cameroonian politician who opposed union with French Cameroon. I am reverting to Africa-politician-stub.
This may seem inconsistent with adding him to the Cameroonian politician category, but the stub template does not link to Cameroonian politicians, but to Cameroon, and displays the modern Cameroon flag..

Endeley's political career didn't end with the reunification of British and French Cameroons. DeLancey and DeLancey write, ""Reduced to a leader of an opposition minority because of Foncha's popularity in a federal Cameroon, Endeley became an early cautious advocate for a one-party system in the country." He later became leader of "government business" in West Cameroon and president of the Fako section. He also served in the National Assembly.
