Contesting speedy delete[edit]

a market cap of over a billion dollars, and therefore certainly does not qualify for speedy deletion. The article is rather spare I'll admit, but I want to get out of here to catch On the Media this morning, and didn't have time to do a full article. --TexasDex 14:52, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The company itself passes WP:N. Taking directly from WP:N "A notable topic has been the subject of at least one substantial or multiple non-trivial published works that are reliable and independent of the subject." It's been written up in Yahoo Business, DMNews, Money Central, Philadelphia Business Journal, and the eCommerce Times amongst others. Add some of these in and you have a nice stub instead of a speedy delete. There could be some haggling over the press release but since it's not released by GSI but instead the other company *shrug. Radial[edit]

This article should remain eBay Enterprise and a new article should be created for Radial. eBay Enterprise/GSI Commerce has a complex history, worthy of its own article. When it was sold by eBay, it was broken into 3 divisions, "marketing solutions, customer relationship management, and enterprise operations and technology services". The marketing division became an independent company, Pepperjam. Zeta Interactive acquired the CRM business. Only the enterprise services unit merged with Innotrac to become Radial. --Lazervizion (talk) 04:13, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I personally think it should just be kept like it is now. The company is still the same as it was from the times of GSI Commerce. If that is the case it should have had a new article when it was bought by eBay. Reb1981 (talk) 21:34, 20 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

eBay bought all of GSI Commerce and renamed it to eBay Enterprise. Radial is only a fraction of GSI Commerce. I think the right thing to do is make a new article for Radial, then list eBay Enterprise as the predecessor. Radial has little resemblance to eBay Enterprise and GSI Commerce. Why not rename the article to Zeta Interactive? They bought a large chunk of the business as well. --Lazervizion (talk) 00:27, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Same HQ in King of Prussia since days of GSI. I still hold what I have said. I don't see any reason to make separate. It was only 5 years under eBay brand. Article to read too [1] Reb1981 (talk) 02:31, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The headquarters remaining the same is a good point. Still, Radial is not the original eBay Enterprise. Sterling Partners even says, "The former enterprise services division of eBay Enterprise will be integrated with operations of Innotrac Corporation". eBay Enterprise did not become Radial. Only the enterprise services division became Radial. If Pepperjam becomes a notable company, by your logic, eBay Enterprise (now Radial) should be listed as its predecessor. I created a new article for Radial. A similar issue is happening with the Hewlett-Packard article right now. HP was split into 2 companies: HP Inc. and HP Enterprise. The company split up, but one division kept the main company name. The same happened at eBay Enterprise. It seems the enterprise services division kept the eBay Enterprise name from November 2015 to April 2016 before switching to Radial. Ignoring the business structure, it would appear eBay Enterprise became Radial. --Lazervizion (talk) 22:26, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that is main reason I was changing existing page few days ago, but its ok the way you have it works just fine. I mean look at other companies that have been sold and merged. They have prior pages too. That's why I agreed. Reb1981 (talk) 19:52, 25 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sale and dissolution[edit]

While in the end the Enterprise part of order was under Sterling Partners. The initial sale was a Permira-led consortium of buyers includes Sterling Partners, Longview Asset Management, Innotrac Corp and companies owned by Permira funds.Source is here.Reb1981 (talk) 19:54, 13 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
