Does anyone have a photo of the rubbery numeric keypad overlays that were such a distinctive feature of DEC shops? Andy Dingley (talk) 19:45, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Blast from the Past[edit]

This article, and especially the manual that was linked to, brought back some good memories. I was the project leader for EDT version 3. The design of the system-wide startup file was done at a DECUS conference—I asked the participants in an EDT presentation for ideas, and together we put together the design. TPU implementation of EDT?[edit]

I was involved with EDT in the 1980s, and I do not recall a port to TPU, though the TPU editor, EVE, did draw inspiration for its user interface from EDT. I have added a "citation needed" note to the article in the hope that someone who knows the later history of EDT will contribute here. John Sauter (talk) 17:03, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
